Bio: Barbara Cornelius is J.C.'s mother and a Pokémon professor. Like Johnathan, she studied Mega Evolution and worked on ways for humans and Pokémon to communicate with one another. She and her husband, Johnathan Cornelius invented a Pokémon translator, saying it will help Pokémon talk with humans. One day, Barbara heard about a group of Pokémon called "The 68 Pokémon" and she left town with her husband, Johnathan, looking for them. Barbara was more than just a professor, but a skilled Pokémon trainer. She said her son, J.C. would make a great Pokémon trainer in the future. She's also skilled in Mega Evolved Pokémon.

Barbara's Pokémon Bios

Blaziken (Male)

Appearance: red scarf, a bionic right leg and a bionic left arm.

Pokéball: Pokéball.

Bio: Blaziken. Barbara's starter Pokémon and one of her best Pokémon. She met him when he was a Torchic and took him in after she saved him from a couple of Team Rocket trainers. Since he joined, he's been a great help to Barbara. He evolved into Combusken after defeating Grass-Type Pokémon who were being controlled by Team Rocket and almost hurt his trainer. He later evolved into Blaziken during a battle with a couple of Team Magma trainers. Blaziken lost his right leg and left arm while saving Barbara from Team Aqua trainers. He was given bionic implants and ever since that day, Blaziken kept pushing himself to become a strong Pokémon. Barbara knows Blaziken will do great things for the group and she will trust him with her life.

Venusaur (Male)

Appearance: a bionic right eye with a scar over it.

Pokéball: Pokéball.

Bio: Venusaur met Barbara when he was a Bulbasaur. He was abandoned by his trainer for losing a Gym battle. Fortunately, Bulbasaur met Barbara and helped him become a strong Pokémon. By the time he evolved into Ivysaur, he encountered his previous trainer and after a battle, Ivysaur decided to stay with Barbara. As for his previous trainer, last they heard, Ivysaur's old trainer was captured by Team Rocket. Ivysaur evolved into Venusaur after saving a group of wild Pokémon. His right eye was damaged, so he was given a bionic eye. Venusaur really tough during battles, but he really cares for his fellow Pokémon. He's glad to have a trainer like Barbara.

Absol (Male)

Appearance: a bionic left eye, a dark blue crescent shaped scar on his right cheek, a black crescent shaped marking on his front left leg and a bionic front right leg with "Without darkness, there is no light" written on it.

Pokéball: Premier Ball.

Bio: Barbara met Absol when she and Johnathan heard stories about a mysterious Pokémon hiding in a waterfall. They found Absol keeping watch over a waterfall and convinced him to join them. At first, Absol thought about it for a bit, but when then attacked by a couple of Team Galactic trainers. Fortunately, Barbara and Johnathan helped him defeated the trainers and Absol joined Barbara. He's one of Barbara's wisest Pokémon and he's very resourceful when it comes to helping other Pokémon and trainers. Barbara and Johnathan still wonder about the crescent shaped markings on his right cheek and his front left leg. One day, Barbara and Johnathan were attacked by a group of Pokémon who were being mind controlled by Team Galactic, along with the help of some trainers from Team Magma and Team Aqua. Absol, never turning his back on his trainer, tried to help set the Pokémon free from their control. The Pokémon were saved from their control, but Absol's his left eye and right front leg were gone after the fight with them. He was given a bionic eye and a bionic leg afterwards. He even told his trainer to put a writing on the bionic leg. It said, "Without darkness, there is no light". Absol is still a Pokémon of mystery, but is very loyal to Barbara and never turns his back on a Pokémon in need, no matter how tough the challenge.

Pidgeot (Female)

Appearance: red scarf and an eye patch over her right eye.

Pokéball: Pokéball.

Bio: Pidgeot. Born in the Kanto region and had a hard life growing up. She was originally a Pidgey who lived with a flock of Pidgeys and Pidgeotto. She met Barbara when she was lying by a tree, injured by a group of Spearow. She lost her right eye to a Fearow while trying to evacuate the flock who were being saved by a Pidgeot. An event Pidgey will never forgive Fearow for. Fortunately, Barbara and Johnathan were able to help Pidgey and after some training, she set off to help her flock. She evolved into Pidgeotto while fighting off some of the Spearow with Pidgeot, who was the leader of the flock. Amazed on how strong she is, Pidgeot told Barbara to take Pidgeotto with her. Pidgeotto agreed and eventually joined Barbara's team. Unknowingly to them, the Pidgeot they met just happened to be the same one who belonged to Ash Ketchum. As time went on, Pidgeotto became stronger until she eventually evolved into Pidgeot. Since she evolved, she's been a great help to the group. A very skilled tracker and a quick flyer. Barbara knows Pidgeot will be a great battler someday and she's glad to have her on her team.

Metagross

Appearance: an x-shaped scar on each leg.

Pokémon: Ultra Ball.

Bio: Metagross is a Pokémon of mystery and Barbara and Johnathan don't know it as well. It once belonged to a scientist back when it was a Beldum, but it lost its trainer in a lab explosion. Beldum has been alone in a ruined lab, trying to rebuild its trainer's research when it met Barbara and Johnathan. Amazed by its knowledge of advanced technology, they convinced Beldum to join them, on one condition. That they take its trainer's research along. After gathering the research, they were attacked by a group of Team Galactic grunts. Fortunately, Beldum helped them fight back. It even evolved into Metang during the fight. Since then, it's been training to become stronger and kept learning more about advanced technology. Metang evolved into Metagross after battling a group of Team Magma trainers and Team Aqua trainers. Since it evolved, Metagross has become very intelligent. It even became a translator for humans and Pokémon. The scars on its legs were from a fight with a group of Steel-Type Pokémon that were being controlled by a device created by Team Galactic. Metagross became calm, loyal and fearless towards its friends and Barbara and Johnathan are glad Metagross is on their team.

Aggron (Male)

Appearance: a gray hooded cloak and the right half of his body is mechanical.

Pokéball: Timer Ball.

Bio: Aggron met Barbara and Johnathan when he was evacuating workers in a cave. There was a huge avalanche coming from inside the cave and he made his way in to help them. He got everyone out safely, but the cave collapsed on him. The right half of his body was damaged from the rockslide. Fortunately, Barbara and Johnathan helped him to a Pokémon Center and he was given robotic implants. He joined Barbara after he was healed and ever since then, he's been one of her strongest Pokémon. His strength is amazing, once shattering a boulder with one punch. He also formed a friendship with Johnathan's Gigalith. Sometimes, he trains with other Pokémon to help them become stronger.

Glalie (Male)

Appearance: an x-shaped scar on each of his horns.

Pokéball: Fast Ball.

Bio: Barbara met Glalie as a Snorunt. He was hiding in a cave after he was abandoned by his trainer for losing a Gym battle. He was also abandoned because he couldn't evolve into Glalie. He's been hiding in a snowy mountains, hoping to become stronger and find a new trainer. Barbara and Johnathan saved Snorunt from an avalanche and he eventually joined them. One day, while gathering some firewood, Barbara was attacked by an Ursaring. Quickly, Snorunt tried to help her. Snorunt was almost defeated until he suddenly evolved into Glalie. He won the fight and ever since he evolved, Glalie has been a great help to the team. He was shown to be strong, fearless and never turns his back on his teammates. Glalie will fight to the end for his friends and he'll never give up no matter what.

Scizor (Male)

Appearance: a black hooded cloak, an x-shaped scar on his forehead and another one on his chest.

Pokéball: Great Ball.

Bio: Scizor met Barbara when he was a Scyther, training in the forest. He's been fighting to push his body to its limits. Barbara was amazed on how strong he is. He convinced him to join her team. At first, Scyther wasn't sure and was more of the lone wolf type. But then, he was attacked by a crazed Ursaring who was attacking a group of Scyther. Barbara saved them by battling the Ursaring and after Scyther evolved into Scizor, they saved the Scyther and eventually, Scizor joined her. Since then, he's been a great help to the group as one of her fastest and strongest Pokémon, once battling three Team Rocket trainers and stopping a tree from falling onto a group of wild Pokémon.

Pinsir (Male)

Appearance: an eye patch over his left eye and an x-shaped scar on his chest.

Pokéball: Pokéball.

Bio: Pinsir. Raised in Johto and had a hard life growing up. He once lived with a tribe of Pinsir, but there was a feud between them and a tribe of Heracross. Barbara and Johnathan found Pinsir training with one Heracross due to being rivals. Pinsir got his scars mostly from battling with Heracoss. After the feud was settled, Pinsir joined Barbara and ever since then, he's been tough and brave towards her. Barbara even plans on giving Pinsir to Suki, because she knows she'll take good care of him.

Beartic (Male)

Appearance: a bandage on each arm and an x-shaped scar on his chest.

Pokéball: Great Ball.

Bio: Beartic. Born in Unova and had a hard life growing up. He was originally a Cubchoo who lost his trainer in a mountain climbing accident. He trained in hopes of being stronger until he met Barbara and saved her from an avalanche which lead to him evolving into Beartic. He joined her afterwards, saying she reminds him of his old trainer. Since then, he's been doing whatever he can to keep his friends safe and he never turns his back on his opponent if it means keeping them safe.

Leavanny (Female)

Appearance: a light green scarf, a dark green jacket and a medical backpack.

Pokéball: Friend Ball.

Bio: Leavanny was belonged to a tailor who did outfits for famous actors. She was raised as a Sewaddle and helped her trainer with tailoring equipment and fashion designs. She even assisted her trainer in creating outfits when she evolved into Swadloon. After her trainer retired, she was given to Barbara after she helped her trainer with some final outfit designs. At first, Swadloon wasn't sure about her trainer until she helped her gather some leaves for three Sewaddle and began trusting her. She also became very mature since the day she evolved. Eventually, she evolved into Leavanny. Since then, Leavanny has been very skilled with creating outfits and is very caring to her friends. She's also an expert model, a talented fashion designer like her previous trainer and is very agile. Sometimes, she likes to create outfits of her own designs for Pokémon.

Noctowl (Female)

Appearance: a blue scarf with a crescent moon on it.

Pokéball: Pokéball.

Bio: Noctowl is a little wiser than the rest of Barbara's Pokémon. She's mostly quiet at times and is caring to her teammates. She joined Barbara sometime ago after helping her saved some Hoothoots that were captured by a couple of poachers. Since she joined, she's been very helpful and caring to the group. Noctowl is also very wise and very strategic when it comes to battling other Pokémon. One time, she battled three Ghost-Types in a dark forest. Noctowl is one of Barbara's best Pokémon and she knows Noctowl will do great things for the group.

Serperior (Female)

Appearance: green scarf.

Pokéball: Pokéball.

Bio: Serperior was known as the Queen of the forest. She joined Barbara sometime ago after helping her save from wild Pokémon from a forest fire. Since she joined, Serperior has very very helpful. She cares about her teammates and is very forgiving during battles. She also gave Barbara and Johnathan a Pokémon Egg which their son, J.C. gave to his girlfriend, Suki because she knows she will take good care of it. Serperior also has a crush on Johnathan's Samurott. Serperior is very wise towards her friends and Barbara knows Serperior will do great things for her trainer.

Golisopod (Male)

Appearance: a pair of violet sunglasses and a violet scarf.

Pokéball: Premier Ball.

Glaceon (Male)

Appearance: a mechanical back left leg with snowflakes on it.

Pokéball: Dusk Ball.

Appearance: a blue and pink striped scarf.

Pokéball: Heal Ball.

Appearance: a mechanical front right leg with flames on it.
