Sonic Post-Apocalyptic Halloween

It was Halloween night at New Station Square. Sonic and his friends were out trick-or-treating. They arrived at Chris' mansion. There stood Sonic, Amy, Knuckles, Rouge, Silver, Blaze, Tails and Cream, wearing their post-apocalyptic outfits.

Chris: Hope you guys have a great Halloween.

Sonic: Thanks, Chris.

Chris: If you guys are interested, I'm throwing a Halloween party later. All the other heroes are coming.

Sonic: We'll think about it. Maybe after we get more candy.

Later, they were outside the gate of the mansion.

Amy: So, what's the plan now?

Knuckles: I don't know about you guys, but I'm going home.

Silver: Not yet. We still have to find more candy.

Rouge: Where, exactly? Chris' mansion was the last house.

Blaze: Actually, there's one more.

Cream: Where?

Silver and Blaze: Follow us.

(The group was walking through the forest)

Cream: Are you sure it's a good idea the walk through the forest during Halloween night?

Tails: It's the fastest way to get to the house. Besides, none of those scary stories that you hear on Halloween are true.

Soon, they arrive at a hill and on top of it stood a creepy mansion.

Amy: Is this the place?

Rouge: I think so.

Sonic: No turning back now. Come on, there's got to be some good candy in there.

Tails: Mother lode of Halloween candy, here we come.

(They all went up the hill)

Meanwhile, Shadow was up on the hill, trying to get the door open.

Shadow: Man, you think a mansion that's been up on a hill for a long time would be unlocked.

(The others reached the top when they saw Shadow)

Rouge: Shadow? Is that you?

(Shadow looks at the others)

Shadow: Oh, hey, guys.

Rouge: What are you doing around here?

Shadow: I heard rumors that this mansion was haunted, so I wanted to see for myself.

Cream: Haunted?

Shadow: Yeah, that's why I came here. To find out if it was true or not. Anyway, what brings you all over here?

Sonic: Trick-or-treating. We finished stopping by Chris' mansion. It was the last house, or so we thought.

Amy: Silver and Blaze brought us here. We think there might be some good candy here.

Shadow: Well, you're all welcome to join me in searching this place.

Sonic: Thanks. By the way, Chris is throwing a Halloween party. Want to come by later?

Shadow: Sure. I could use some Halloween fun, anyway.

Soon, Shadow unlocks the door and it slowly opens.

Shadow: Alright, it's open. Let's go inside.

The group walked inside. The mansion look ancient. There was a lot of dust and spider webs. There were even some dimmed lights. The others got their weapons out and looked around.

Amy: There's got to be some good candy in here, somewhere.

They all looked around the house. Shadow was searching the attic when he found a switch.

Shadow: What's this?

(Shadow hits the switch and a hidden door opens)

Shadow: I better check this out.

(Shadow walks in when Sonic saw him)

Sonic: Shadow? Where are you going?

Sonic runs to the door, but it closes.

Sonic: Blast!

Amy: What's wrong, Sonic?

Sonic: Shadow found some sort of room, but the door closed. It could have been something important, but I'm not really sure.

Knuckles: Well, I don't really know what's going on, but I want candy.

Rouge: Knuckles is right. Let's search some of the other rooms.

(The group leaves the attic)

Meanwhile, Shadow finds some sort of lab. He looks around it, seeing different types of chemicals and vials, along with some documents. Suddenly, he found something that caught his attention. It was some sort of plan to release the zombie virus into New Station Square.

Shadow: I have to stop this. If the zombie virus is released, New Station Square will be just like what it was ten years ago.

While Shadow began setting explosives around the lab, Sonic and the others left the house and walked towards a graveyard.

Amy: We've searched this mansion for almost a whole hour and we haven't even found one piece of candy.

Tails: Still think there's any candy around here?

Silver: I could've sworn there was something around here.

Blaze: Well, we should probably leave.

Cream: Sounds like a good idea. We can head for Chris' Halloween party.

(Suddenly, the group hears a rumbling noise coming from underground)

Knuckles: What was that?

(The ground was shaking and hands started coming out of the graves)

Sonic: Get back!

The group joined together as zombies started coming out of their graves. Shadow runs outside the mansion and sees the group surrounded by the undead. He quickly joins them as they get ready to fight.

Sonic: Shadow, what's going on?

Shadow: The mansion had a hidden lab underneath it and it released the zombie virus. I rigged the lab to blow, but we need to stop these zombies before they reach the city.

Sonic: Well, in that case... (Sonic pulls out his sword) Let's take these walking corpses down!

The group charged and started fighting the zombies. Sonic, Tails, Knuckles Amy, Cream, Rouge, Silver, Blaze and Shadow were fighting every last one of the zombies. They knew that they couldn't let the outbreak reach New Station Square. They fought the zombies with every weapon the had. They even attacked with a variety of attacks and special moves. The fight went on for what seemed like minutes until all the zombies were defeated.

Amy: I think that's all of them.

Tails: And not even one got into the city.

Suddenly, all the fallen zombies combined together. All the pieces formed together to create a giant mutated zombie. It lets out a monstrous roar.

All: Sweet Mobius.

The giant mutated zombie marched towards the city. The group of heroes looked at each other.

Tails: If that undead beast heads downhill, the whole city will be overrun. We got to stop it.

Amy: How?

Sonic: Any way we can.

They head downhill, attacking the giant undead mutant will everything they had. But, no matter how many attacks they used on the it, the undead mutant just kept coming.

Amy: We need to call the others!

Sonic: Shadow and I will go on ahead and warn them. The rest of you try to slow this beast down.

Sonic and Shadow ran off, warning the other heroes about what's going on. They even contacted Chris' mansion to let him know what's going on. Luckily, Chris contacted G.U.N. and told them to send the Mechs, along with Eggman's robots. Soon, everyone was at the hillside and they all attacked the giant mutant.

Sonic: Keep fighting! We can't let it into the city!

The giant mutant swung its hands at the heroes, trying to get rid of them. It squashed some of the robots, but most of them kept fighting. Suddenly, the giant undead monster sees Tails and was about to eat him. But, before Tails was about to be eaten, Cream quickly pushed him out of the way and the monster ate her.

Amy and Tails: CREAM!

Everything went black. Cream was lost in a dark void. Suddenly, she wakes up. She looks to see that her suit was deactivated and her right arm was gone. There were bandages wrapped around it. She then looks to see a temple and walks towards it, using her laser rifle as a crutch. Inside, she saw Tikal the Echidna, standing by a pond full of chao. She looks at Cream, seeing her walk towards her.

Tikal: Hello, Cream.

Cream: Where am I?

Tikal: A peaceful place. I'm sorry about your arm.

(Cream looks at it)

Cream: What happened?

Tikal: You risked your life to save Tails.

Suddenly, another figure appears. It was Cosmo the Seedrian.

Cosmo: Glad to see you again, Cream.

Cream: Cosmo? Is that you?

Cosmo: Yes. It's been a while. How's Tails?

Cream: Good, actually. I just saved him from being eaten from a giant mutated zombie. Although... (Cream looks at her arm)

Cosmo: I'm sorry. (Cosmo looks at Cream's arm) But, the good news is you're not dead yet.

Cream: Really?

Tikal: The bad news is the monster is almost at New Station Square.

Cream: Can you both help me?

Both: We'll try.

Cosmo and Tikal held out their hands and Cream's arm was replaced with the right arm from her robotic suit.

Cream: I lost Emerl a long time ago, same for Cosmo, I will not lose any of my friends as well.

Cosmo: Say, we never got to ask you. How did you get your robotic suit?

Cream: It was from Emerl. Tails and my Mom turned him into a robotic suit for me and gave it to me as a birthday gift. But, that's another story I can explain later.

Tikal: Okay. We'll come with you, in case you need help.

Cream: Sounds good. Besides, (Cream looks at Cosmo) I made a promise... to a friend.

(Cosmo nods, knowing what Cream meant)

Back with the other heroes, they were all exhausted. The giant mutated zombie was almost at the city. Suddenly, there was a bright light coming from inside the beast's mouth.

The group looks to see Cream fly out of the monster's mouth. She held out her mechanical arm and it turns into an arm cannon. She also took out her laser rifle.

Cream: Happy Halloween!

Cream fires her rife and the arm cannon. The two combined blasts flew into the mutant's mouth. All of the sudden, electric sparks started circling around the mutant and it exploded.

(Cream falls onto one knee, using her rifle to keep herself steady and the arm cannon returned to normal)

Cream looks to see Cosmo and Tikal appear in front of her.

Cream: It's over. I defeated it.

Tikal: Congratulations, Cream. For your bravery, we have two gifts for you.

Cosmo and Tikal held out their hands and Cream's mechanical arm started to glow. She watched as her arm started turning organic again.

Cream: My arm is back. But, wait... what's the second gift?

Cosmo: Look up.

Cream looks up to see that a large amount of candy fell from the sky. It was raining candy.

Cream: Wow! It's raining candy!

Tikal: Happy Halloween, Cream.

Cream: Thanks. Same to both of you.

Cosmo: Oh, and take care of Tails for me, Cream.

Cream: I will, Cosmo.

Later that night, Chris was having a Halloween party and all the Sonic Heroes were invited. Everyone was celebrating Halloween and the victory of defeating the giant mutated zombie. Meanwhile, in the underground lab of Chris' mansion, Chris was with Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy, Cream, Rouge, Silver, Blaze and Shadow, seeing the huge pile of candy.

Chris: Sweet Mobius! You guys hit the jackpot!

Sonic: Yep. All thanks to us, but mostly Cream. So, she gets more than our share of the candy for defeating the undead monster.

Knuckles: Where is she, anyway?

Amy: She's outside, talking to Tails.

On the balcony, Tails and Cream were looking up at the sky.

Tails: So, Cream, what happened to you?

Cream: Well, after I was eaten, I awoke in some sort of beautiful land. There, I saw Tikal and Cosmo. I told you them you guys needed help, plus I made a promise to Cosmo.

Tails was surprised to hear that. He remembered Cosmo and Tikal sacrificed themselves to save their friends. Cosmo told Cream to take care of Tails for her.

Cream: I was given a mechanical arm and with their help, I defeated the monster. They gave me two things in return afterwards: They returned my arm back to normal and the candy rain.

Tails: Cream...

(Tails placed his hand on Cream's shoulder)

Tails: I miss them, too.

(Cream held Tails' hand and looks him in the eyes)

Cream: I love you, Tails.

Tails: I love you too, Cream.

Tails and Cream kissed and the rest of the group celebrated Halloween together.
