Sonic the Hedgehog Dies At The End Chapter 21

You Only Live Once

Sonic and Knuckles were driving in the wastelands.

Knuckles: This car is pretty sweet and it's got some pretty cool weapons. Check this out.

(The gun turrets fired at a group of zombies out in the road, then they were knocked out of the way with the plow, leaving green zombie slime on the road)

Sonic: Awesome!

Knuckles: How long have we've been driving?

Sonic: Ten miles since we left New Station Square and the G.U.N. Base.

Knuckles: You think we lost the others?

(Sonic looks out of the window)

Sonic: I think we're good.

The police car stops for fuel. Sonic was looking at a holographic map while Knuckles was getting some food.

Sonic: Maybe we should take refuge in the underground city until all this blows over. Either that or the Emerald Coast resort.

(Knuckles walks out carrying food)

Knuckles: This should be enough.

(They both get back in the car)

Sonic: We should keep moving.

Knuckles: Sounds like a good idea.

(The car drives off)

Sonic: I wonder what's on the radio.

(Sonic turns on the radio and it was playing "Ghostbusters")

Knuckles: Nice.

(They both listen to the song as they drive)

Knuckles: Who sings the "Ghostbusters" song?

Sonic: Ray Parker Jr.

Both: Ghostbusters!

Knuckles: I like when they yell it.

Sonic: It's pretty catchy.

Meanwhile, behind the police car was the Humvee Shadow, Rouge, Silver and Blaze were in. The radio was playing "What is Love" by Haddaway.

Blaze: There they are.

Shadow: Ram them.

Sonic and Knuckles: Cause busting makes me feel good!

(The Humvee rams into the back of the police car)

Sonic: They found us!

Knuckles: Well, that ruined the moment.

(Silver was shooting from the gut turret on the Humvee)

Silver: Get some!

The bullets were either hitting the car or zipping pass it.

Sonic: I'll drive, you shoot.

(Knuckles stuck his head out of the window and starts shooting at the Humvee)

Knuckles: I can't lose them!

Sonic: How can this get any worse?!

Not too far ahead was Zonic. He was walking out the desert road.

Zonic: Lost in the desert, no sign of Eggman. What am I suppose to do now?

Suddenly, the police car runs into Zonic, knocking him onboard.

Sonic: Zonic?!

(Silver stops shooting)

Silver: What's Zonic doing on the car?

Shadow: Who cares. Take them down!

Silver continues shooting when one of the bullets hits a tire from a diesel truck. The truck loses control and droves into the vehicles.

Sonic: Duck!

Sonic and Knuckles ducked and so did Silver as the diesel truck went under the cars. Zonic fell off the car and skidded towards the diesel truck. Luckily, he didn't crash into it.

Zonic: Well, that could have been worse.

Suddenly, the truck exploded.

Sonic: Sweet Easter, that was close.

Knuckles: Yeah, but we're still being chased.

Suddenly, they saw the X-Tornado flying above them.

Tails: Guess who brought a jet to a car chase?

(The X-Tornado starts shooting at the Humvee)

Tails: So, you guys mind telling me why you're being chased?

Sonic: Long story.

Knuckles: Crud! CRUD!

(Knuckles sees a cliff not to far from their location)

Sonic: What is it?

Knuckles: We're heading for a cliff! We're not going to make it.

Sonic: What if we keep going?

Knuckles: You sure?

Sonic: Yeah. *a small tear comes to the hedgehog's emerald green eye* Yeah.

Knuckles steps on the gas and the police car jumps the cliff. The Humvee stops.

(The police car crashes onto an island)

Sonic was passed out on the grass and Knuckles was passed out in the car.

Sonic: We made it, Knuckles.

(Knuckles smiles)

Knuckles: We did.

Suddenly, the police car exploded.

Sonic and Tails: KNUCKLES, NO!

(Silver and Rouge flew down towards the island)

Silver: He's down there on that island! And it looks like Knuckles didn't survive the crash.

Rouge: What?! I was going to ask him out on a date when this is over!

Sonic: Oh, man! What do I do? What do I do?!

Rouge got her two Berettas out while Silver uses his telepathy to levitate his guns and Rouge's shotgun. He even levitated a giant rock from the island.

Silver: We have you now, Sonic.

Rouge: There's no getting out of this one. Say goodbye.

Suddenly, a stray shot hit Silver and he fell onto the car.

Rouge: What the heck?!

(Rouge was flattened by the rock)

Sonic: Wow. Well, I'm speechless.

(Sonic hears rustling coming from the bushes)

Sonic: Who's there?

Charmy comes out of the bushes. He was wearing a police uniform, a brown cowboy hat, his goggles which were around his neck, and his gloves and shoes. His weapons were a double-barrel shotgun, Barrett M99 sniper rifle, and two revolvers. He also had a bionic left eye with a scar over it.

Charmy: Oops. Sorry about that. I was doing some target practice when I heard a crash. Did you know those guys?

Sonic: Yeah, but they weren't friendly.

Charmy: Oh, okay. Say, um... are you good at parties?

Sonic: That depends, my good bee. What kind of party are we talking about here? Like, birthday party or slumber party?

Charmy: Come by our house and I'll show you. It's in the underground city of New Station Square.

Sonic: Okay. You coming, Tails?

Tails: Why not.

Charmy: Then, let's go. I know a secret entrance we can take to get there.

(Charmy leads them to a secret passage through a waterfall)

Sonic and Tails: Well, you only live once.

(Sonic and Tails followed Charmy through the X-Tornado)

Meanwhile, Silver was lying on the burning police car, still in pain.

Silver: I should have stayed in the future.

Shadow: Looks like they didn't make it.

Blaze: No...

(Blaze falls to her knees)

Shadow: Blaze? Are you alright?

(Blaze balls her bionic hand into a fist)

Blaze: I'll turn his bones into... *Blaze's eyes turn red and fire burns in them* ASHES!

(A fire burns around Blaze and she turns into her super form, "Burning Blaze")

Blaze: *holds a fireball in her mechanical hand* I'll feel his heart burn in my hand!

Shadow: Guess that's a "No".
