"Hey, Calliope, you want a drink?!" The young brunette's head whipped around the loud tavern room to find Paul standing a dozen or so paces away. Two wooden mugs filled to the brim with frothy, cold ale occupied the hands of the leather-clad thief. Waving the mugs in his hands to silently ask again, Calliope quickly nodded her head before returning her gaze out the window of The Laughing Dog Inn. Glancing out over the silver-covered town of Freykeep and beyond, Calliope was deep in thought when Paul slipped into the hard-seated booth and slid her a mug. "To another bout of good luck and good fortune, cheers!" The brunette allowed herself a small smile and clinked glasses with the man across from her. Raising the wooden cup to her lips, she drank a small amount of the frothy beverage. The ale was sweet and smooth and warmed up the tip of her nose. At last, the thieving bat appeared behind Amy, snatching the hammer out of her hands and kicking her forward, before using her own hammer against her!
